Senior Pastor

Chris Cormack has pastored our church since May of 1989, having previously served for over eight years as Associate / Youth Pastor on Vancouver Island at Queen's Avenue Apostolic Church (now called Victoria Full Gospel Fellowship). Chris is a native Victorian and attended St. Philip's Anglican Church in Oak Bay while a student at Oak Bay High School. He graduated from the Full Gospel Bible Institute at Eston, Saskatchewan in 1979, and is an ordained minister with The Apostolic Church of Pentecost.

Youth Pastor

Dennis and Holly Moldon are responsible for our youth. A former student at Full Gospel Bible College in Eston, SK, Dennis graduated with his Bachelor of Bible Studies in April 2003. Holly works in administration at a local business here on Salt Spring. They are parents to Jaxon and Julian - two of the most fought over boys in the world! That will change once they start acting and smelling like boys but for now, the girls all seem to fight over who holds them. One of Dennis' favorite quotes is, „How come the dove gets to be the peace symbol? How about the pillow? It has more feathers than the dove, and it doesn't have that dangerous beak.

The Community Gospel Chapel is a family oriented church. Chris and his wife Marlene balance their pastoral duties with the day to day demands of raising an active family (consisting of their children, Kimberly, Carmen and David as well as assorted cats). Marlene is also a graduate of the Full Gospel Bible Institute with majors in music and Christian education
